10 Habits for a Healthier Life

Sometimes a simple thing or a small act can have immense consequences. It’s not all about drastic changes that can improve your life. I`m going to write about ten simple things you need to add to your habits that will improve your health in the long run.

#1 Drink 2 liters of Water per day

Pure water is essential to our health. The water helps to build our body cell. Two liters means eight glasses of water you need to drink per day. Water helps produce extra oxygen in a blood cell. It refreshes our blood. Water produces a lot of hydrogen in our body and blood cell. Please advise that tap water is not the best one, try buying bottled water that has been filtered the least.

#2 Exercise 3 times a week

Exercise three times a week is crucial. You don`t need to go to an expensive gym. All you need to do is at least some easy exercise like, walking, running, riding, dancing, playing, swimming, etc. Find the one that is the easiest for you so you`ll be able to stick to it and make it a habit. If you want to keep your body fit, it is advised to exercise at least three times a week. Do at least one hour of exercise.

#3 Eat Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It helps produce energy. It helps you sleep well at night. You can eat a rich and delicious breakfast. My favorite breakfast is to mix rich protein yogurt with one tablespoon of peanut butter, one banana, and granola. The most important are some full protein fruit like banana, apple, grapes, pineapple, and orange. You should include fruits in your breakfast.

#4 Eat more greens

Try to eat more green vegetables. They are very healthy and contain a lot of protein and vitamin. They help you keep your weight under control. You should include green vegetables in at least one of your meals every day.

#5 All things in moderation

We all have cravings, and usually, it`s for either junk food or sweets. Well, I`m sure you know those are not beneficial to your health. No one will judge you if you grab a snack once in a while but don`t make it a daily habit, don’t make junk food your main meal. Keep it in moderation, and things will be fine.

#6 Have regular checkups

You should do a check-up of your eye vision, hearing, dental, and common general blood tests routinely. As you get older, you need to do them more often. My advice is to do it once a year anyway.

#7 Sleep & Relaxation

Sleep and relaxation are essential to your health. Your body needs at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep to recover. The best sleeping schedule is to go to sleep by the time of 10 or 11 pm and wake up until 6 or 7 am.

#8 Laugh daily and walk in the open air

A daily laugh is very beneficial to your health. It helps to refresh your mind and heart. Also having a small 5-minute walk in the morning is good for you.

#9 Wash your teeth

Brush your teeth first thing when you wake up. Brush them again after breakfast. You will have a nice smelling breath, and your teeth will be clean.

#10 Drink tea or coffee after breakfast

Never on drink them on an empty stomach. That is the most unhealthy habit that many people have in common. It can lead to gastric problems like an ulcer.
Force yourself to follow these points until they become a habit. They will boost your health in the long run.
